Lee Jung-Gi-hun jae’s and the Front Man are among the confirmed returning characters. The most intriguing aspect of the announcement is a suggestion that Gong Yoo’s enigmatic Ddakji-playing figure would return.
The Squid Game ended on a bleak note, with the majority of the characters dying in the lethal games. While the death toll was enormous, Gi-hun’s reappearance was unavoidable. In the show’s final scenes, we see him with his hair dyed red, on his way to visit his daughter in the United States, only to turn around.
Park Hae-soo, Hung Ho-Yeon, and Wi Ha-joon were among the cast members of Squid Game’s first season. The show shattered viewing records and won a slew of prizes.
